MoMo Hong Kong bounced back on Nov. 15th with wireless executives turning up for the networking event focusing on “The impact of the cloud on mobile.” Leveraging the pull of the GSMA’s Mobile Asia Congress that week and support from regional MoMo chapters, about 30% of the attendees were from outside Hong Kong.
Stefan Rush, a partner at consultancy Exicon, kicked off the event with a presentation outlining the huge shift in the the drivers behind the apps economy. John Tanner, from Telecom Asia, moderated the panel session which included Exicon partner Cat Purvis, Locatrix Communication CEO Mark White, Asia Cloud Computing Association CEO Per Dalberg, WIP CEO Caroline Lewko, and Ashish Bedekar, Navteq’s APAC partner relationship manager. See the full report on our panel discussion posted by Sylvie Barak at RCR Wireless.
The evening was sponsored by NAVTEQ and MoMo HK also wants to thank Exicon, Mobikyo and the Wireless Industry Partnership (WIP) for their kind and generous support.
Look for updates on our next event by early Jan.
